These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Nova Bricks website.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Nova Bricks”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Nova Brick and Retail, trading as Nova Bricks.

The website provides information about Nova Bricks, our clay brick products, product ranges, news, contact details, and tools such as the brick wall calculator.

The website may allow users to submit enquiries, estimate brick quantities, request delivery-related estimates and submit information for a formal quote.

3. No Final Quotation Through Website Calculator

The brick calculator is provided for estimation purposes only.

Any quantity, price, delivery fee, VAT amount or total shown on the website is an estimate and may change after review by Nova Bricks.

A final price, delivery fee, stock availability, lead time or order confirmation will only apply once Nova Bricks has issued a formal quote or written confirmation.

4. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information on the website is accurate and up to date.

However, product colours, textures, finishes and images may vary depending on screen settings, photography, lighting, production batches and natural clay variations.

Customers are encouraged to confirm product specifications, availability and suitability before making a purchase or placing an order.

5. Brick Quantities and Measurements

The website may provide estimated brick quantities based on information entered by the user.

You are responsible for ensuring that the measurements and project information you submit are accurate. Nova Bricks is not responsible for incorrect estimates caused by incorrect wall measurements, incorrect wall type selection, project changes or other information supplied by the user.

We recommend that final quantities are confirmed with a builder, architect, quantity surveyor or suitable construction professional before ordering.

6. Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates provided through the website are indicative only.

Delivery charges may vary depending on distance, location, access, order quantity, vehicle requirements, fuel costs and other logistical factors.

Deliveries over certain distances or quantities may need to be quoted separately. A final delivery fee will be confirmed in writing by Nova Bricks.

7. Orders and Formal Quotes

Submitting an enquiry, calculator result or estimate request through the website does not create a confirmed order.

An order is only confirmed when:

  • Nova Bricks issues a formal quote or written order confirmation;
  • The customer accepts the quote;
  • Any required payment or deposit has been received; and
  • Nova Bricks confirms stock availability and delivery arrangements.

8. Pricing

Prices displayed on the website, if any, may be shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT, depending on the page or calculator output.

Prices may change without notice and remain subject to confirmation by Nova Bricks.

Nova Bricks reserves the right to correct pricing errors, calculation errors, VAT errors, delivery fee errors or product information errors before confirming any order.

9. Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed in the formal quote or invoice issued by Nova Bricks.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, orders may only be processed once required payment or proof of payment has been received and verified.

10. Stock Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Nova Bricks does not guarantee that products displayed on the website will always be available. Product availability may change due to stock movement, manufacturing schedules, demand, production variations or other operational factors.

11. Delivery and Site Access

Where delivery is arranged, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is correct and that the site is accessible, safe and suitable for delivery vehicles.

Additional costs may apply where:

  • The delivery address is incorrect;
  • Access is restricted or unsafe;
  • The delivery vehicle cannot reach the required offloading point;
  • The customer is unavailable at the agreed delivery time;
  • Additional handling, waiting time or redelivery is required.

12. Returns, Defects and Complaints

Returns, exchanges or refunds will be dealt with in line with applicable South African law and Nova Bricks’ written policies.

Customers must inspect products upon delivery or collection and notify Nova Bricks of any visible damage, shortage, incorrect product or defect as soon as reasonably possible.

The South African Consumer Protection Act recognises consumer rights relating to unsafe or defective goods.

Products may not qualify for return where they have been used, installed, damaged after delivery, mixed with other batches, altered, or handled in a way that affects their condition, unless otherwise required by law.

13. User Responsibilities

When using the website, you agree that you will not:
